Horton has
been composing music for over twenty years. Always
seeking new ways to connect his varied musical influences,
"his writing stretches genre boundaries".
Whether writing for film, studio or live performances,
"there is a pure and organic quality to
his compositions".
In 2007, Horton composed the score for the award
winning documentary film by Ed Pincus and Lucia
Small, entitled The
Axe In The Attic. Select video and audio clips

Horton's writing for his own groups is often a blend
of Jazz, Rock, Funk and African music. Some of this
