Horton is
a performing artist, composer and
producer with a long
list of
credits to his name. He's
performed, recorded and toured
with world renowned
artists in various genres, including:
Ani Difranco, Buddy Miles,
Aaron Neville, The Spin
Doctors, Tabou
Combo, Arnie
Lawrence, Winston Grennan, Hiram
Bullock and Adam Holzman.
Horton's
most recent performance schedule
has included concerts with Richard
Bona, a Camerounian
musician recognized as "one
of the planet’s five revelations
of the past decade".
Horton's most recent production work
includes the continuation of his
long term project "JAZZADELPHIA: A
Philly Jazz Tribute", which
began with his acclaimed album PIANADELPHIA,
recorded in 2006.
Horton's most recent composition
credits include the score for the
award winning documentary The
Axe In The Attic, which
premiered at The NY Film Festival
in
2008.
Horton continues to lead his own
Philadelphia based, electric Jazz
group ROMP,
which performs primarily his own
music.
Horton also owns Soulsearch
Music, a
boutique record label which
began as an outlet for his own music
and now holds a catalog of twelve
albums.
